Granit Xhaka has indicated that he will leave Borussia Monchengladbach this summer amid reports that Arsenal have made a bid for the midfielder.
The 23-year-old is believed to be the subject of a £33m offer from the Premier League outfit, but the Gunners reportedly face competition from Bayern Munich.
Xhaka, who has spent the last four years playing for Monchengladbach, is hopeful that his future will be resolved before Euro 2016, which gets underway next month.
"The circle has been closed," Xhaka told Bild. "There are now daily conversations and there will definitely be a decision before the European Championships.
"I played my first competitive match for Borussia in the cup in Darmstadt. Four wonderful years followed. Now, possibly, my last game in Darmstadt again - the circle has virtually been closed."
Xhaka scored three goals this season.
