Crystal Palace, Brentford and Brighton & Hove Albion reportedly prepare to do battle for the signature of Arsenal youngster Reiss Nelson.

Arsenal winger Reiss Nelson is reportedly at the centre of a three-way transfer tussle involving Crystal Palace, Brighton & Hove Albion and Brentford.

The 21-year-old caught the eye with his displays as a teenager during the early days of his senior career, but he found it hard to make his mark under Mikel Arteta last term.

Nelson only featured in eight games for Arsenal's first team across all competitions during the 2020-21 season, while he also scored two goals in six Premier League 2 appearances.

With the attacker now only contracted to the North London club for another season, CBS Sports claims that three Premier League sides in Palace, Brighton and Brentford are ready to make their move.

The report adds that talks over an extension at Arsenal beyond 2022 have hit a brick wall, and the club could therefore decide to sell him this summer rather than lose him for nothing next year.

Nelson has scored four goals and registered four assists in 47 appearances for Arsenal's first team, and he played the first 45 minutes of their recent friendly defeat to Hibernian.
