Hector Bellerin to reject new Arsenal deal for Manchester City move?

Hector Bellerin could reportedly reject a new Arsenal contract in order to join Manchester City next summer.

Hector Bellerin could reportedly turn down a new contract from Arsenal in order to join Manchester City next summer.

Reports emerged at the weekend that the Gunners are planning to offer the right-back a new five-year deal as they are desperate to keep hold of the Spaniard.

The 21-year-old, who joined the club's youth academy from Barcelona in 2011, has become an integral member of Arsene Wenger's team since making his senior debut three years ago.

According to The Times, Bellerin has also attracted interest from his former club Barcelona, but it is believed that the defender would prefer to join City to play under Pep Guardiola.

Reports have claimed that Arsenal are willing to almost double Bellerin's current wage of £50,000 per week.
