Nottingham Forest complete signing of Chuba Akpom on loan from Arsenal

Nottingham Forest announce the signing of Arsenal's Chuba Akpom on loan until May 31.

Nottingham Forest have announced the capture of Chuba Akpom from Arsenal on loan until May 31.

Bournemouth and Norwich City were also linked with the 19-year-old, who is yet to make his mark in the Gunners' first team at the Emirates.

However, it is Forest who have won the race for the England Under-20 international, who will be eligible to play in the Good Friday clash against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Akpom, who had loan spells at Brentford and Coventry City last year, has made seven appearances for Arsenal in this campaign.
