Championship quartet eye Arsenal's Chuba Akpom

Nottingham Forest, Norwich City, Derby County and Middlesbrough are all reportedly vying to sign Arsenal striker Chuba Akpom.

Arsenal striker Chuba Akpom is reportedly the loan target of four Championship clubs.

At the weekend, Nottingham Forest boss Dougie Freedman confirmed his interest in signing the 19-year-old.

However, the Tricky Trees face competition for the forward's services from league rivals Norwich City, Derby County and Middlesbrough, according to the Daily Mail.

The report added that Derby have also made an approach for Manchester United youngster James Wilson, although a deal is unlikely.

Clubs in the Football League have until Thursday to conclude their loan business.
