Inter Milan have reportedly identified Arsenal's Hector Bellerin as the ideal replacement for Achraf Hakimi, who is on the verge of completing a move to Paris Saint-Germain.
The French giants have allegedly held off competition from Chelsea to agree a deal for Hakimi, with the Morocco international set to pen a five-year deal with Mauricio Pochettino's side.
According to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Inter have made contact with Bellerin's agent to discuss a potential move for the Arsenal defender during this summer's transfer window.
Di Marzio claims that the Italian champions want to sign the Spaniard on an initial loan with the option to make it a permanent deal at the end of the 2021-22 campaign.
Bellerin, who has also been linked with Atletico Madrid, scored once and provided four assists in 35 appearances for Mikel Arteta's side during the 2020-21 season.
The 26-year-old's existing deal at the Emirates Stadium still has two years left to run.
