Real Madrid's Luka Jovic and Arsenal's Alexandre Lacazette are reportedly both on Inter Milan's radar for the January transfer window.
The Serie A champions waved goodbye to Romelu Lukaku in the summer, but CEO Giuseppe Marotta has confirmed that Lautaro Martinez is on the verge of signing a contract extension.
However, out-of-favour attacker Alexis Sanchez is expected to depart in the coming months, which could see the Nerazzurri seek out attacking options over the winter.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter do not want to take a risk on an up-and-coming striker and have therefore identified Jovic and Lacazette as two ideal acquisitions.
Jovic has failed to make his mark at Real Madrid during his two years in the Spanish capital - scoring just two goals in 38 games - and he is widely expected to move on in 2022.
Meanwhile, Lacazette's deal with Arsenal expires in the summer of 2022 with no sign of an extension, and the Gunners could be pressured into a January sale lest they risk losing him for free next summer.
