Arsenal will reportedly allow Eddie Nketiah to rejoin Leeds United permanently if they receive a fee of £20m for their academy product.

Leeds United have been offered the chance to sign Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah for a fee of £20m this summer, according to a report.

The 22-year-old is facing an uncertain future at the Emirates with his deal due to expire in 2022, and he has failed to become a consistent part of Mikel Arteta's plans so far.

Nketiah previously spent time on loan with Leeds during their triumphant 2019-20 Championship season, scoring three league goals, but he only started two second-tier matches before returning to the Emirates after five months.

However, Football Insider claims that Marcelo Bielsa is looking to bolster his attacking ranks and provide competition for Patrick Bamford, so a permanent move for Nketiah is a possibility.

In spite of the fact that he will become a free agent in 12 months' time, Arsenal supposedly still want to garner £20m for Nketiah, and Arteta is happy for the Hale End product to leave for the right price.

The England Under-21s captain bagged six goals in 28 appearances under Arteta last season, including two crucial late strikes against West Ham United and Fulham in the Premier League.
