Leicester City are reportedly ready to cash in on playmaker James Maddison in the summer transfer window.
The 25-year-old was heavily linked with a switch to Arsenal last summer, but a move did not materialise as the Gunners instead swooped for Martin Odegaard from Real Madrid.
Despite the long-running transfer saga in 2021, Maddison has enjoyed another productive campaign at the King Power, amassing 13 goals and eight assists from 40 appearances in all competitions.
However, with Brendan Rodgers supposedly planning a summer overhaul at Leicester, the Daily Mail - via The Sun - claims that Maddison could be on the chopping block.
The one-cap England international now has less than two-and-a-half years left to run on his Foxes contract, but the report adds that it will still take a bid of £50m to prise him away from Leicester.
Maddison has now scored 40 goals and set up 28 more in 159 games for Leicester since 2018, although he had a late winner controversially ruled out against Manchester United on Saturday.
As well as Maddison, Leicester are also supposedly happy to part ways with Youri Tielemans as part of their squad reshuffle before the 2022-23 season.
