Liverpool are reportedly weighing up an approach for AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie.
The 24-year-old's current deal at San Siro is due to expire next June, and a number of clubs, including Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur, continue to be credited with an interest in his services.
The midfielder was in impressive form at club level last term, scoring 14 times and registering six assists in 50 appearances in all competitions, with 13 of his goals coming in Serie A.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Liverpool are considering making an offer for Kessie, as the Reds look to bring in a replacement for Georginio Wijnaldum, who has joined Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer.
Kessie is currently on international duty with the Ivory Coast at the Tokyo Olympics, and a decision on his future is not expected to be made until after the Games have finished.
Earlier this summer, the Ivorian's agent revealed that Tottenham were interested in signing his client during this summer's transfer window.
