Manchester City have reportedly identified Arsenal defender Kieran Tierney as a potential summer transfer target.
Pep Guardiola's squad is brimming with talent and has sufficiently coped with the relentless amount of matches that they have played this season.
However, the left-back area has emerged as somewhat of a problem position, a consequence of Oleksandr Zinchenko and Joao Cancelo both leaving the club over the past two windows.
While the latter may be reintegrated into the group after a loan spell with Bayern Munich, Guardiola is seemingly not satisfied with his current options.
Nathan Ake has impressed when called upon, but Sergio Gomez faces the prospect of a loan spell elsewhere in 2023-24 having not played more than an hour in a single match since November.

Guardiola had allegedly been contemplating an approach for Chelsea's Ben Chilwell before the England international signed a new contract at Stamford Bridge.
According to Football Transfers, the Spaniard may instead give the green light to a move for Tierney this summer.
The 25-year-old has enjoyed a relatively productive spell at the Emirates Stadium since 2019, making 90s start and 28 substitute outings in all competitions.
Nevertheless, the Scotland international is now a bit-part player for the Gunners due, ironically, to the arrival of Zinchenko from Man City.

The former Celtic man has been restricted to just five starts in the top flight this campaign, a further 17 appearances coming from the substitutes' bench.
With over three years left on his contract, Tierney does not necessarily have to be in any rush to take on a new challenge away from the current Premier League leaders.
That said, Arsenal may wish to generate extra transfer funds for Mikel Arteta this summer, with Nuno Tavares an option to return from his loan stint with Marseille to take Tierney's place.
Much may theoretically depend on the level of game time that Tierney could receive at City now that Ake has performed to such a high level in place of Cancelo since the turn of the year.
