Arsenal could move for Lyon attacker Memphis Depay this summer, according to a report.

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta is reportedly keen on bringing Lyon attacker Memphis Depay to the Emirates Stadium during this summer's transfer window.

The Netherlands international has scored 14 goals in 18 appearances for his French club during the 2019-20 campaign, including five times in five Champions League appearances.

Memphis's contract with Les Gones is due to expire next summer, and according to Le 10 Sport, Arsenal are considering a move ahead of the 2020-21 season.

The report claims that Arteta views the Dutchman as an ideal replacement for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang as the club captain continues to be linked with a summer exit.

Memphis previously played in the Premier League for Manchester United, but the attacker only scored twice in 33 league outings for the Red Devils before joining Lyon in January 2017.

The 26-year-old recently returned to training following six months on the sidelines with a serious knee injury.
