Real Madrid president Florentino Perez admits that the club will listen to offers for striker Gonzalo Higuain.

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has admitted that the club will listen to offers for striker Gonzalo Higuain.

The Argentina international has been linked with a move away from Santiago Bernabeu this summer, with Juventus and Arsenal reportedly showing an interest in the forward.

Perez, who was recently re-elected for another four years, has said that he will not stand in Higuain's way if either club were to make a move.

"If [other teams] are interested then we can talk. I'll speak with the player on Sunday and then we'll make a decision," Perez told Punta Pelota.

"We have never received an offer for him and he has never told me that he wants to leave. It is not easy to leave if your club don't want to let you go. However, Juventus are a team who we have a friendship with."

Higuain scored 16 goals for Los Blancos in La Liga last season.
