Real Madrid are reportedly set to rival Barcelona for the signature of Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
The 30-year-old is out of contract at the Emirates next summer and has been heavily linked with a move to La Blaugrana in recent weeks.
However, according to reports in Spain, Aubameyang is keen on a transfer to Zinedine Zidane's side, and the Gabon international is said to have made a promise to his grandfather that he would play for Los Blancos one day.
The report also claims that the Gunners would demand a fee in the region of €65m (£59.1m) for the attacker, who sits second behind Jamie Vardy in the race for the Premier League golden boot having scored 17 goals this season.
Aubameyang has chalked up 61 goals in 96 games for Arsenal since arriving from Borussia Dortmund in January 2018.
