Report: Swansea City line up Joel Campbell loan move

A report suggests that Swansea City are weighing up a loan move for Arsenal striker Joel Campbell when the transfer window re-opens in January.

Swansea City are eyeing a loan move for Arsenal forward Joel Campbell, according to a report.

The Costa Rica international has failed to break into the first team with the Gunners this season, despite performing well at the World Cup in Brazil in the summer.

Garry Monk's men are ready to move for the 22-year-old to bolster their attacking options, but could also face competition from Everton and West Bromwich Albion, claims The Mirror.

Campbell recently hit out at reports that he was unhappy at Arsenal after being linked with a permanent move away from the Emirates Stadium.
