Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny has returned to Roma on a season-long loan.
The Poland international spent the 2015-16 campaign on a temporary deal at the Stadio Olimpico, making 34 Serie A appearances and eight in the Champions League.
A report in the Daily Star claims that Roma will cover the entirety of the keeper's £46,000-a-week wage, while Arsenal will pocket £840,000 for permitting the loan.
"I'm very happy," Szczesny told Roma TV. "After a good season last year I had possibility of coming back and I was very happy that the coach wanted me. I'm delighted to be back and I hope that we can improve on what we did last season."
The 26-year-old joined Arsenal's academy in 2006 and made his senior debut three years later.
