Theo Walcott has revealed that he is not concerned by the discussions taking place regarding his Arsenal future.
The England winger has a year remaining on his contract at the Emirates Stadium and he has admitted that the process of agreeing a new deal will take some time.
Walcott told the Daily Star: "The club and my agent are talking but it is a slow process and my last contract took six months to agree - but it will come."
However, Walcott has suggested that the public saga about his future is not concerning him ahead of the new season.
"We'll see what happens but I am not too bothered about it," the 23-year-old added.
Recent reports have linked Southampton with a move to bring Walcott back to the club.
