Wales boss Chris Coleman to take heed of Arsenal advice over Aaron Ramsey fitness

Chris Coleman promises that Wales will heed any Arsenal advice over the fitness of Aaron Ramsey, who is only just back to action from injury.

Wales boss Chris Coleman had promised to take heed of any advice that Arsenal give over the fitness of Aaron Ramsey.

The 25-year-old has missed the opening three World Cup qualifiers because of a hamstring problem, and the Dragons are desperate for him to return to international duty as they prepare to host Serbia next week.

Ramsey has only just returned to action, playing 75 minutes of Arsenal's 3-2 victory over Ludogorets on Tuesday, and is expected to play a part in Sunday's derby against Tottenham Hotspur.

"It's the best chance we're going to get that he comes with us and he can play, if not 90 then as long as he can," Coleman told Sky Sports News.

"And whatever Arsenal say to us - this is what he's capable of - we won't [go against that]. We've never done that with any player.

"Whatever they say he's capable of, and whatever Aaron says he's capable of, that's what will happen."

Coleman and Gunners boss Arsene Wenger have clashed in the past over Ramsey's fitness and his partaking in Wales games when allegedly not fully fit.
