Aston Villa "taking no further action" against Gabriel Agbonlahor

Premier League strugglers Aston Villa reveal that they will be "taking no further action" against striker Gabriel Agbonlahor following his recent trip to Dubai.

Aston Villa have confirmed that Gabriel Agbonlahor will face no punishment for his conduct in Dubai.

During a recent trip to the Middle East, the 29-year-old was pictured allegedly smoking and drinking alcohol at a party.

Last Friday, the Premier League strugglers responded by suspending the frontman and announced that an internal investigation would take place.

However, that process has been completed, with Agbonlahor now free to return to work.

"Aston Villa Football Club has completed its investigation into Gabby Agbonlahor's trip to Dubai over the international break. The club will be taking no further action," read a statement on the club's official Twitter feed.

Agbonlahor has made 15 Premier League appearances this term.
