Queens Park Rangers are rumoured to be lining up a move for Aston Villa striker Darren Bent.
QPR chairman Tony Fernandes, is apparently preparing a January bid for Bent, who upset Villa fans this week when he was pictured shopping during the team's 2-0 loss to Liverpool on Sunday.
The West London club are in the market for a striker and are also interested in Spurs duo Roman Pavlyuchenko and Jermain Defoe.
England international Bent, signed for Villa from Sunderland in a £24m deal last January.
However Villa moved quickly this week to dismiss the rumours of a potential rift between Bent and his manager Alex McLeish.
