Report: Aston Villa want £30m for Christian Benteke

Aston Villa will ask for £30m for Christian Benteke in a bid to fend off interest from Liverpool and Manchester United, according to a report.

Aston Villa have reportedly slapped a £30m price tag on Christian Benteke, following speculation linking him with a move away.

The Belgian international striker has been linked with Liverpool and Manchester United after regaining his form this season.

Benteke was recently nominated for the PFA Fans' Player of the Month award for April.

Villa are preparing to receive bids for the 24-year-old frontman this summer, according to Goal.com.

The report adds that the Midlands outfit will ask for £30m in a bid to fend off interest.

Benteke cost just £7m when Villa signed him from Genk in 2012.
