Granada and Atletico Madrid have both failed to find the net in the first half of tonight's La Liga encounter at the Estadio Nuevo Los Carmenes.

The best chance of the opening stages fell to the in-form Falcao, but the Colombian fluffed his lines following good work by Filipe Luis.

Despite Granada's superior possession, the home side struggled to carve out any decent opportunities in what was a dull 45 minutes.

However, they nearly broke the deadlock towards the end of the half when Gabriel Torje's effort came back off the post.
