Sunday's La Liga predictions including Real Betis vs. Atletico Madrid

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's La Liga fixtures, including Real Betis vs. Atletico Madrid.

Leganes vs. Celta Vigo (Sunday, 1.00pm)

Leganes and Celta Vigo will both be looking to bounce back from defeats when they continue their respective 2024-25 La Liga campaigns with a contest at Estadio Municipal de Butarque on Sunday afternoon.

The hosts, who are 17th in the La Liga table on eight points, will enter the contest off the back of a 3-1 loss to Atletico Madrid, while 10th-placed Celta suffered a 2-1 defeat to Real Madrid in their last match.

We say: Leganes 0-1 Celta Vigo

Only Getafe (six) have drawn more La Liga matches than Leganes this season, and it would not be a surprise to see the points shared on Sunday afternoon. However, we just have a feeling that Celta will be able to navigate their way to all three points.

Getafe vs. Valencia (Sunday, 3.15pm)

Valencia will be aiming to move off the bottom of the La Liga table when they head to the Spanish capital on Sunday afternoon to tackle fellow strugglers Getafe.

Los Che will enter the contest off the back of a 3-2 home defeat to Las Palmas, which has left them rock bottom of the division, while Getafe sit 16th, three points above their opponents this weekend.

We say: Getafe 1-1 Valencia

There has only actually been one draw in the last seven La Liga meetings between the two teams, but we are finding it difficult to separate them this weekend. Both have struggled in the final third of the field in 2024-25, and we are expecting a low-key stalemate on Sunday afternoon.

Betis vs. Atletico (Sunday, 5.30pm)

Atletico Madrid will be aiming to bounce back from a shock home defeat in the Champions League when they resume their La Liga campaign with a clash against Real Betis on Sunday night.

Diego Simeone's side are third in the La Liga table, seven points behind the leaders Barcelona, while Real Betis sit seventh, boasting 15 points from their opening 10 matches of the 2024-25 campaign.

We say: Real Betis 1-2 Atletico Madrid

Atletico will have had an extra day of recovery for this match, which could prove to be crucial, especially in the second half. It would not be a surprise to see a draw on Sunday night, but we just have a feeling that Atletico will be able to navigate their way to an important three points.

Real Sociedad vs. Osasuna (Sunday, 8.00pm)

Real Sociedad will be aiming to make it three straight wins in all competitions when they continue their 2024-25 La Liga campaign with a home fixture against Osasuna on Sunday night.

The home side have underwhelmed domestically this season, only collecting 12 points from 10 matches to sit down in 11th spot in the La Liga table, but Osasuna are up in eighth, having picked up 15 points from their opening 10 games.

We say: Real Sociedad 2-1 Osasuna

Osasuna are yet to win on their travels this season, picking up just two points from their four matches, and although Real Sociedad's home form this season has been disappointing, we are expecting the hosts to secure a narrow victory on Sunday night.
