Atletico Madrid are reportedly weighing up an approach for Wolverhampton Wanderers forward Rafa Mir.
The 24-year-old arrived at Molineux three years ago but has only made four appearances in that time, while he has spent the past three seasons on loan with Las Palmas, Nottingham Forest and Huesca.
Mir enjoyed a stellar 2020-21 campaign with Huesca, registering 16 goals from 39 appearances across all competitions, and his contract at Wolves now has less than 12 months left to run.
According to AS, Atletico manager Diego Simeone is keen to move for Mir, but a bid for the striker is dependent on Saul Niguez's future.
A swap deal with Barcelona involving Saul and Antoine Griezmann is thought to be in the works, but should the Spaniard leave and Griezmann head elsewhere, Simeone will then supposedly follow up his interest in Mir.
The former Valencia man is yet to make his Premier League debut for Wolves, but he has been included in Spain's squad for the Tokyo Olympics.
