Fernando Torres wants Atletico Madrid stay

Fernando Torres reveals that he is desperate to sign a new contract with Atletico Madrid, despite speculation linking him with a move to China.

Fernando Torres has claimed that he has 'no interest' in listening to outside offers as he wants to remain with Atletico Madrid.

The Spanish striker is currently on loan at Atletico from AC Milan, but he is due to become a free agent at the end of the season.

A recent report claimed that the experienced forward was the subject of interest from the Chinese Super League, but the 31-year-old has insisted that he wants to pen a new deal at the Vicente Calderon.

"It isn't the time to listen to offers, neither do I have any interest in doing so," he told Cadena COPE. "I want to stay at Atleti. My future is to win something here. I haven't done that yet, but I have the great fortune of playing where I want.

"I don't know when [I will be offered a new deal], but I want to enjoy every game [until the end of the season].

Torres scored his 100th goal for Atletico in their 3-1 win over Eibar earlier this month.
