Sevilla striker Kevin Gameiro is reportedly closing in on a move to Atletico Madrid.
It is understood that Atletico opened talks with Sevilla last week in a bid to bring the Frenchman, who scored 29 times during the 2015-16 campaign, to the Spanish capital.
According to L'Equipe, talks have developed over the last couple of days and the two clubs are close to agreeing a transfer figure for the 29-year-old, who has also previously been linked with a move to Real Madrid.
Gameiro has scored 67 times in 140 appearances for Sevilla, including seven in 13 Europa League matches last term as the Andalusian club won the European trophy for a third straight season.
