Aston Villa have completed the loan signing of Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Andre Moreira.
Manchester United loanee Sam Johnstone featured between the sticks for Villa last season, but the West Midlands outfit were unable to push through a permanent deal due to the club's issues with Financial Fair Play.
However, after the arrival of new investors, Villa can now push forward with their transfer plans and Moreira has been brought in on a season-long loan deal.
The 22-year-old has been contracted to Atletico since 2014, but the Portuguese is yet to make a first-team appearance for the La Liga giants.
Moreira spent the second half of the last campaign on loan at Belenenses, where he made 10 outings in the top flight.
