Alcorcon moved seven places up the Segunda division table with a 3-1 victory over Barcelona B tonight.
Barcelona have struggled on the road all season and it took just three minutes for Alcorcon to edge in front as Joan Campins put through his own net.
Alcorcon continued to make all of the running and, shortly before the half-hour mark, they made it two from the penalty spot through David Rodriguez, after Barcelona stopper Adrian Ortola had committed a foul inside the box.
However, four minutes later, the visitors halved the deficit when Gerard Gumbau got the final touch from a corner.
Despite being at a man disadvantage, Barcelona were always a threat on the break, but their task was made a lot tougher when Rodriguez restored Alcorcon's cushion just after the hour mark.
The home side pushed for a fourth, with Víctor Pastrana Carrasco's venomous drive almost beating Barca's substitute keeper Jose Jose Suarez Garcia, but they were happy to settle for three as they moved to eighth place in the standings.
