Massimiliano Allegri: 'We will improve'

Massimiliano Allegri says that AC Milan will improve as the injury list gets shorter.

AC Milan boss Massimiliano Allegri has reassured fans that the team will improve when he has a full squad of players from which to choose.

The Rossoneri, who are labouring in 11th in Serie A, fell to a 3-1 defeat in Barcelona last night.

Allegri believes that his team can be happy with their performance at the Camp Nou despite the end result.

"When we get our players back from injury, we will find better performances and results," he told Sky Sport Italia.

"This performance should give us confidence, as the team kept its belief and shape even after going behind, which it did not do against Fiorentina.

"We will face a Chievo side hungry for points and must be ready for it."

Stephan El Shaarawy, Giampaolo Pazzini, Daniele Bonera and Matias Silvestre are among those on the treatment table.
