Barcelona have revealed that Samuel Umtiti will miss the next two months of the season after picking up a hamstring injury during Saturday's 2-2 draw with Celta Vigo at Camp Nou.
Umtiti pulled up in the 72nd minute of the La Liga contest, and was ultimately replaced by Thomas Vermaelen.
Barcelona came from behind to lead on home soil, but Celta fought back to secure a valuable point at the home of the league leaders.
The Catalan giants revealed after the match that Umtiti had picked up a hamstring injury which will see the 24-year-old miss the remainder of 2017, including El Clasico against Real Madrid on December 23.
Umtiti, who moved to Camp Nou from Lyon in 2016, has made 17 appearances for Barcelona during the 2017-18 campaign.
