Lionel Messi has revealed his delight after passing the 400-goal mark for club and country.

The Barcelona attacker registered twice in his side's 6-0 win over Granada at the weekend, with the brace taking his tally to 359 goals for his club side.

Messi has also registered 42 goals in 93 games for Argentina during what has been a sensational career.

"I never imagined I would get this success in my career. Thanks for the congratulations on 400 goals for Barcelona and Argentina," Messi wrote on Facebook.

"I'll continue working hard in order to score more goals. A hug for everyone."

Messi already has five goals in six La Liga games this season.
