Barcelona defender Gerard Pique has revealed his delight after signing a new long-term deal with the Catalan outfit.
The Spaniard agreed the new five-year extension last week, but officially put pen to paper earlier today before turning his attention to next season.
"Barca must be on top, winning titles and feeling important within the European and global elite. With the team and the coach we have all the ingredients to get back on top," he told Marca.
"I'm very excited [about the appointment of Luis Enrique]. During his presentation he showed he has very clear ideas. He knows the club and I think he will give a lot."
"I'm closer to retiring at Barca. Now I hope for many more successes, as many as I've had in these last few years."
Pique, 27, returned to Barca from Manchester United in 2008.
