Barcelona chalked up their sixth straight league win with a 4-0 victory over Almeria at Camp Nou on Wednesday.

Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez (2) and Marc Bartra scored the goals for the home side, who remain top of the table by four points.

Almeria, meanwhile, are still 19th following an eight-game winless run in La Liga.

BARCELONA

Goal

Claudio Bravo: Did not have an awful lot to do in terms of saves, but the Chilean went about his work with minimum fuss during another strong display. (6/10)

Defence

Dani Alves: Still no new deal for the Brazilian, but he remains a key player. Had a decent game, but the right-back's crossing was a little wayward, especially in the first period. (6/10)

Marc Bartra: Had a strong game in Barcelona. Did not put a foot wrong defensively and scored his side's third with a cool header. Really needs a run in the team. (8/10)

Javier Mascherano: Found Thievy Bifouma tough to handle and picked up a booking for a foul on the attacker. That said, overall, the Argentine was very composed indeed. (7/10)

Adriano: Put in an energetic performance down the left, but the Brazilian's crossing was a little bit disappointing. Just does not provide the same threat as Jordi Alba. (6/10)

Midfield

Sergi Roberto: Neat and tidy performance from the Spaniard, who was also prepared to put his foot in when needed. Was just his third league start of the season for Barca. (7/10)

Xavi: Turned back the years with a wonderful midfield performance. Set up his side's third and absolutely radiated class in possession of the ball. (8/10)

Ivan Rakitic: Returned to the team at the Camp Nou and put in a disciplined performance. Not too much in the final third, but kept things ticking over nicely. (6/10)

Attack

Pedro: Really struggled to make his mark during what was a rare start for the Spaniard. Had a couple of half-chances, but failed to convert. That said, he set up his side's fourth late on. (6/10)

Lionel Messi: Had a frustrating opening 30 minutes, but made the breakthrough with a wonderful curling effort. Not his best game, but still produced a moment of magic. (7/10)

Luis Suarez: Continued his strong run of form with a double at Camp Nou. His first was a stunning effort, while he showed great energy and desire to score the second. (8/10)

Substitutes

Martin Montoya: Replaced Alves after 64 minutes and provided much more of an outlet for the hosts. Put in some cracking crosses during a strong cameo performance. (7/10)

Rafinha: Neat and tidy final 20 minutes from the midfielder. (6/10)

ALMERIA

Goal

Julian Cuesta: Was left exposed by his defence for the third and fourth goals and the Spaniard made some decent saves. Cannot really be blamed for the defeat. (6/10)

Defence

Jose Casado: Had a difficult game at full-back. Struggled to cope when Messi turned on the speed and he almost conceded a penalty when he fouled the Argentine late on. (5/10)

Angel Trujillo: Helped frustrate the home side for long spells of the first period, but was ultimately part of a defence that conceded three times at Camp Nou. (5/10)

Ximo Navarro: Had a really good first period as he made a number of challenges, but the Spaniard struggled in the second period, especially in the final 30 minutes. (6/10)

Antonio Marin: Came in for his La Liga debut and the 19-year-old can be pleased with his performance. Did not look out of place at this level of football. (6/10)

Midfield

Javier Espinosa: Came in for a rare start and had a decent game in the middle. Demonstrated his passing ability in the first period, but did fade after the break. (6/10)

Thomas Partey: On-loan Atletico Madrid midfielder had a solid game in the middle of the park. Found the top corner with a stunning effort late on, but it was disallowed for offside. (7/10)

Corona: Given a start in midfield in a bid to bring calmness to the visitors, but the skipper struggled to make his mark against Barcelona's middle three. (5/10)

Attack

Wellington Silva: Carried a real threat in the first period and set up his side's best chance of the game. Was a surprise when he departed the field early in the second half. (6/10)

Thievy Bifouma: Worked awfully hard in attack and caused the Barca defence all sorts of problems, but the lively attacker just lacked an end product when it mattered most. (7/10)

Edgar Mendez: Had a really good chance just after the break, but could not take it. Worked hard in a wide area before departing with little under 20 minutes remaining. (6/10)

Substitutes

Fernando Soriano: Tested Bravo with a header not long after replacing Silva early in the second period, but he struggled to make a real contribution. (5/10)

Jonathan Zongo: Almeria's best work at Camp Nou arrived when they broke with pace and the striker certainly helped that cause in the final 20 minutes. (6/10)

Mane: Entered after 79 minutes, but did not see much of the ball. (5/10)
