Barcelona presidential candidate Joan Laporta has revealed that he intends to secure the signing of Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba this summer.
The highly-rated Frenchman has been heavily linked with a move to Camp Nou as of late, but the Italian club recently denied that an agreement is in place.
"There is a player we like very much - Paul Pogba," Laporta, who is looking to beat Josep Maria Bartomeu in next month's election, told reporters.
"We know the agent of the player - that is key in this operation. We will have to negotiate with the agent and Juve."
Pogba is contracted to the Bianconeri until 2019.
