Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu has confirmed that the Spanish champions have "an agreement" with Lyon to sign French centre-back Samuel Umtiti in this summer's transfer window.
The 22-year-old has been strongly linked with a move to Camp Nou since last month, and Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas revealed that an agreement was in place when questioned on Wednesday afternoon.
That has now been confirmed by Bartomeu, who has claimed that the central defender will cost the Spanish champions in the region of £20.5m.
"We have an agreement with OL for Umtiti for a fixed €25m (£20.9m) without variables," Bartomeu told reporters. "There is still a deal to be done with the player. We'll do it when he is finished participating in the Euro because he is focused. But since Aulas made it official, I confirm that the agreement between clubs is true."
Umtiti came through the youth ranks at Lyon and has made 170 appearances for the first team.
