Barcelona hope to offload at least three more players before the end of the January transfer window, according to a report.

Barcelona are reportedly hopeful of offloading at least three more players before the end of the January transfer window, having allowed Philippe Coutinho to join Aston Villa on loan.

The Catalan giants need to trim their wage budget this month and have still not been able to register new arrival Ferran Torres due to their financial problems.

According to Sport, Barcelona are hopeful of finding a buyer for Samuel Umtiti, with the Frenchman thought to be a leading transfer target for Newcastle United.

Meanwhile, the report claims that Luuk de Jong - currently on loan from Sevilla - could be sent back to his parent club for the second half of the 2021-22 campaign.

Yusuf Demir is on loan from Rapid Vienna, but there have been suggestions that the attacker will not represent Barcelona again, as another appearance would activate a £10m clause to move to Camp Nou permanently.

Xavi's side are still working to sign Gavi and Ousmane Dembele to new contracts, meanwhile, but have thus far not managed to agree a deal with either player.
