Barcelona are preparing to relaunch their pursuit of RB Leipzig attacker Dani Olmo in January, according to a report.
The 23-year-old arrived in the Bundesliga from Dinamo Zagreb in January 2020 and made an immediate impression in Germany, registering five goals and 10 assists from 32 league outings last term.
Olmo also starred for Spain at Euro 2020 and the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, which reportedly led to Barcelona tabling a £50m bid on deadline day.
According to Mundo Deportivo, La Blaugrana's offer was swiftly rejected by Leipzig, but Ronald Koeman's side will try again for the former La Masia product in January.
The report adds that Leipzig were not prepared to accept anything less than £65m given that they would not have been able to sign a replacement, but Olmo would be open to a return to Barcelona.
The playmaker is contracted to Leipzig until the summer of 2024 and is yet to make an appearance this season following his taxing summer of international football.
