Inter Milan forward Lautaro Martinez is allegedly against moving to Barcelona at this stage of his career.

Barcelona have reportedly been handed a blow in their efforts to sign Inter Milan forward Lautaro Martinez.

Having netted 13 goals from 22 outings in Serie A and the Champions League this season, the 22-year-old has been tipped to replace Luis Suarez at Camp Nou.

The Catalan giants are allegedly prepared to meet Martinez's release clause, said to be in the region of £92.5m.

However, reports in Spain suggest that the striker would prefer to spend at least two more campaigns with Inter.

Martinez is said to not feel ready to make such a high-profile move at this stage of his career, remaining wary of becoming a bit-part player at Barcelona.

The youngster still has three-and-a-half years remaining on his contract at San Siro.
