Lautaro Martinez reportedly informs Inter Milan that he wishes to move to Barcelona during the next transfer window.

Lautaro Martinez has reportedly informed Inter Milan that he is interested in signing for Barcelona.

After netting 16 times in Serie A and Europe this season, Martinez has allegedly emerged as Barca's preferred long-term replacement for Luis Suarez.

However, as a result of the coronavirus pandemic, it remains unclear whether the Catalan giants will be able to fund a move for the Argentina international, who is said to have a release clause in the region of £96m.

Nevertheless, according to reports in Spain, the 22-year-old has told Inter officials that he wishes to move to Camp Nou during the next transfer window.

With just over three years remaining on his contract, Inter remain in a strong position regarding the player's future.

Previous reports have claimed that Barcelona will look to include at least one player in part-exchange for Martinez - something which could appeal to Inter.
