Barcelona have reportedly ended their interest in Porto defender Eliaquim Mangala, with the Portuguese club placing a £36m fee on the centre-back's head.
Mangala, who has also been linked with Manchester United and Manchester City, is widely regarded as one of the best young defenders in European football.
Barcelona had reportedly been preparing a summer move, but according to Marca, Porto have informed the Spanish outfit that they will not do business for anything less than £36m.
While Barca rate Mangala highly, it is understood that the Catalan outfit are unprepared to part with such a sum for a player relatively unproven at the very top level.
