Lionel Messi will not officially sign his new long-term contract with Barcelona until the completion of the World Cup this summer, according to reports.
The 26-year-old agreed a new deal with the Catalan outfit last week, with the terms set to make the Argentine the highest-paid player in world football.
However, according to Mundo Deportivo, the official contract will not be signed until July as the attacker prepares to depart for international duty.
Barcelona are expected to announce Luis Enrique, who will leave his position with Celta Vigo this summer, as their new manager this week.
