Neymar's agent is reportedly pushing for Barcelona to re-sign his client on a free transfer this summer.
The 33-year-old's disappointing spell at Al-Hilal recently came to a close, only managing one goal in seven appearances during his time with the Saudi Pro League outfit, but he has reignited his career back with his first club Santos.
Neymar has two goals and three assists in six appearances for the Brazilian giants since his return, but he only has a contract with them until the end of June, and a return to Europe is believed to be firmly in his mind.
It was recently claimed that Neymar views his move to Santos as an 'audition', with the forward determined to prove that he can still be an influential player at a major European club.
Neymar's main objective is believed to be secure a return to Barcelona, with the deal potentially attractive for the Catalan side considering that he would not command a transfer fee and would be willing to accept a relatively low wage.
According to SPORT, Pini Zahavi, who is a powerful agent in world football, has been in touch with senior figures at Barcelona to discuss the possibility of a move taking place this summer.

Neymar's agent 'in talks with Barcelona over return'
The report claims that Barcelona are not currently viewing re-signing Neymar as a possibility, but a return to Camp Nou has not been ruled out.
Barcelona would likely make a significant amount of money through shirt sales if they were to bring Neymar back to the club, and there have also been claims that Lionel Messi could be set for a sensational return.
Messi is believed to be desperate to play at the new Camp Nou stadium, and it is possible that he could leave Inter Miami to head back to Barcelona in what would be one of the most spectacular moves of all time.
Neymar previously represented Barcelona between 2013 and 2017, scoring 105 goals and registering 76 assists in 186 appearances for the Catalan outfit, winning two La Liga titles, the Champions League and three Copa del Rey crowns in the process.
The Brazilian formed a devastating front three with Messi and Luis Suarez, but these days, it is Robert Lewandowski, Raphinha and Lamine Yamal operating in the final third of the field for the La Liga giants.

Does a return to Barcelona make sense for all parties?
It is not difficult to understand why Neymar would want to return to Barcelona, with the forward determined to prove that he can still be an influential player at the highest level, and there might be a scenario which makes it an attractive deal for the Catalan team.
Neymar would not be first choice, but if he continues to impress at Santos, and his fitness returns to the top level, then there is absolutely no doubting his quality, and a one-year contract could suit all parties.
The attacker left Barcelona for Paris Saint-Germain in 2017, and he scored 118 goals and registered 77 assists in 173 appearances for the French giants before making a controversial move to Saudi Arabia.
Neymar really struggled to get going at Al-Hilal due to injury problems, but if those are put behind him, then a return to Barcelona and a spot for Brazil at the 2026 World Cup would be a serious comeback story.
