Elliot Johnson extends Barnet stay

Young left-back Elliot Johnson signs a new two-year contract with Barnet.

Barnet have confirmed that Elliot Johnson has signed a new contract with the League Two club.

The 20-year-old, who made 45 appearances as the Bees earned promotion from the Football Conference last term, has committed himself to The Hive until the summer of 2017.

"I am chuffed. I think that the club is going in the right direction and I am happy to commit my future to them," the left-back told the club's official website.

Johnson, who came through the academy at Barnet, made his debut back in 2012.
