Kadeem Harris: 'Barnsley must learn to beat bottom sides'

On-loan Barnsley winger Kadeem Harris claims that his side will "fly up the league" as soon as they manage to brush aside League One's weaker teams.

Kadeem Harris has declared that Barnsley will climb into playoff contention once they find their stride in League One.

The Tykes have already beaten the likes of Burton Albion and Gillingham this season, but have slipped up against Doncaster Rovers and Blackpool in recent weeks.

Harris believes that getting the better of teams in the lower reaches of the division will prove key to his side's hopes of finishing inside the top six.

"As soon as we start beating the bottom teams we'll fly up the league," he told Barnsley's official website ahead of their clash against Crewe Alexandra.

"We seem to do well against the teams at the top but struggle against those at the bottom and I can't put my finger on why. It's a big one for us on Saturday, we need to make most of it and capitalise on where they are in the league.

"The fans always expect the team to get a result and it's no different this weekend. We have to go out there, do what we know we can and we trust in ourselves to get the three points."

Barnsley find themselves camped in 13th place following their mixed start to the campaign.
