Paris Saint-Germain have a one-goal deficit to make up when they travel to the Allianz Arena to face Bayern Munich in the second leg of their Champions League last-16 tie on Wednesday evening.
A solitary strike from ex-PSG product Kingsley Coman was enough to give the German champions a slender advantage three weeks ago, leaving the French giants on the brink of another early European exit.
Wednesday's showdown will mark the 13th meeting between familiar foes Bayern and PSG - an appropriate milestone to reach for one unlucky manager - and there has been little to separate the two continental giants down the years.

From their 12 previous showdowns - all of which have come in the Champions League - Bayern have six wins to their name, while PSG have also racked up a half-dozen victories over their Bavarian counterparts.
The 1994-95 group stage represented the first competitive meetings between PSG and Bayern, with the French giants claiming a pair of 2-0 and 1-0 wins thanks to a goal from the legendary George Weah in either game.
Bayern earned a slice of revenge by thrashing PSG 5-1 in their first meeting of the 1997-98 group stage, but Les Parisiens responded in kind, prevailing 3-1 on their own turf before also winning 1-0 at home in the 2000-01 group stage.
However, another miserable trip to Munich would follow as Bayern won 2-0 later that year, with now-sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic on target, but the two sides would be forced to wait a long 17 years before renewing hostilities again.

Once again paired up in the groups in 2017-18, the established pattern continued, as PSG eased to a 3-0 success at the Parc des Princes under Unai Emery before losing 3-1 in Munich, with Corentin Tolisso scoring a brace in the latter fixture.
Following eight successive group-stage encounters, Bayern and PSG's first knockout battle would be played under the bright lights of the Estadio da Luz in the 2019-20 final, where Coman's goal clinched European glory for the Bavarians in front of thousands of empty seats.
Seeking to pull off what his predecessor Thomas Tuchel could not, Mauricio Pochettino completed PSG's revenge mission against Bayern in the 2020-21 quarter-finals, overseeing a spectacular 3-2 win at the Allianz Arena before a 1-0 home defeat sent the champions out on away goals.
However, in a carbon copy of the 2019-20 final, Coman's goal against his old club would prove to be the difference in the first leg of their 2022-23 last-16 tie, levelling the head-to-head once more and marking a fourth win for Bayern from their last five games against PSG.
