Chelsea are reportedly not prepared to give up on their effort to sign Bayern Munich forward Mathys Tel in January.
The Blues have been frequently linked with young talent throughout the ongoing winter transfer window as they contemplate how to juggle their squad.
Several outgoings are expected to materialise in due course with each of Renato Veiga and Cesare Casadei on the brink of completing transfers to Serie A.
Nevertheless, despite that due being accustomed to playing in defence and midfield, Chelsea remain interested in trying to secure the services of a new attacker.
Reports earlier in the month indicated that Tel was on their radar, only for the French prospect and Bayern officials to show a preference to continuing their relationship at the Allianz Arena.

Second approach incoming?
According to the Daily Mail, Chelsea officials are ready to return with a fresh proposal for the 19-year-old.
During the period that the Frenchman has shown his commitment to Bayern, he has failed to feature in three matches in succession.
That has left him on two starts and eight substitute outings in the Bundesliga and Champions League during 2024-25 and 110 minutes of football since the start of December.
Chelsea chiefs will allegedly ask Tel whether he is interested in changing his mind, likely with the guarantee of more game time at Stamford Bridge.
With Enzo Maresca's side struggling for form, it is plausible that Tel could be handed regular opportunities with immediate effect, particularly when Chelsea are operating with a winger light due to Mykhaylo Mudryk's provisional failed drugs test.
Furthermore, it is plausible that Christopher Nkunku could be discussed if negotiations are held between the two clubs.

Bayern still in Nkunku race?
Although Bayern are blessed with options in the final third, speculation persists that there is a lingering interest in former RB Leipzig man Nkunku.
Despite being provided with the final half-hour versus Manchester City on Saturday, Nkunku remains as a backup player for Premier League games.
Manchester United also continue to monitor the situation, yet a deal only appears plausible if Alejandro Garnacho moves in the opposite direction or to Napoli.
