Bayern Munich were crowned Champions League winners on Saturday night thanks to a 2-1 victory over fellow Germans Borussia Dortmund at Wembley Stadium.
Both sides contributed to an entertaining final and it was Bayern who took the lead in the second half when Mario Mandzukic tapped in.
Dortmund got themselves level on 67 minutes through Ilkay Gundogan's penalty, but Arjen Robben struck in the final minute of normal time as Jupp Heynckes's side clinched European club football's top prize for the first time since 2001.

Good evening and welcome to Sports Mole's live text coverage of tonight's Champions League final between Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund at Wembley Stadium.
So, here we are. It's the big one. A season's worth of toil across Europe comes down to this match tonight as Bayern and Dortmund line up in the first ever all-German final in this competition.
Before we get into the nitty gritty, the team news is in...
BAYERN: Neuer; Lahm, Boateng, Dante, Alaba; Martinez, Schweinsteiger; Robben, Muller, Ribery; Mandzukic
DORTMUND: Weidenfeller; Piszczek, Subotic, Hummels, Schmelzer; Gundogan, Bender; Blaszczykowski, Reus, Grosskreutz; Lewandowski
Looking at the starting lineups, there are no real surprises from either side. Both managers have named their strongest possible XIs. Bayern have brought back Dante after the defender missed the second leg against Barcelona, while Kevin Grosskreutz replaces the injured Mario Gotze for Dortmund.
Had Gotze been playing then it would have been an interesting night for the midfielder. The German international will join Bayern this summer in a big-money move. Much to the disgust of Dortmund fans...
Needless to say that the atmosphere inside Wembley Stadium is absolutely electric. Fans from both sides have been enjoying themselves in the capital all day and they are now causing plenty of noise inside the ground.
Anyway, let's take a look at how these two rivals made it to the final...
Bayern topped Group F on goal difference ahead of Valencia, losing one of their matches against Lille 1-0. Victories over Arsenal and Juventus then saw the Bavarians reach the semis, where the smashed Barcelona 7-0 on aggregate.
Meanwhile, Dortmund topped the so-called 'Group of Death' above the likes of Manchester City, Real Madrid and Ajax. They saw off Shakhtar Donetsk in the last 16 before a dramatic victory over Malaga in the quarter-finals. That result pitted them against Madrid again for the right to be in the final and Jurgen Klopp's side came out on top 4-3 on aggregate thanks to two expert performances over two legs.
If you are looking for goals tonight then Robert Lewandowski and Thomas Muller are the men who are most likely to break the deadlock. Lewandowski has 10 goals in this season's competition, while Muller has found the net eight times.

UPDATE: A few worries in the Bayern camp as Bastian Schweinsteiger looks to have injured himself in the warm-up. The midfielder is getting some treatment after taking what looks like a knock to his ankle. We will keep you posted on that one.
In the interest of fairness, here's a showcase of the skills and goals of Bayern's dangerman Thomas Muller...
Around 10 minutes until the Champions League final gets underway and as far as we're aware, Bastian Schweinsteiger hasn't been forced to pull out through injury. It was Mario Mandzukic who caught him during the warm-up but it seems like he will be okay. However, if there are any developments, we will let you know.
The opening ceremony is currently taking place before the players enter the pitch. It looks to be a lot of people in armour battling it out with plastic swords. Oh, UEFA...
The band strikes up and here come the two teams out of the tunnel to a fevered reception...
The formalities have been done and it will be Bayern to get us underway. Here we go!
Both sides are looking lively in these opening stages. Muller nearly gets on the end of a throw inside the area but is blocked by Subotic.
Dortmund win an early corner after Lewandowski's shot is deflected behind. Reus takes it, only to see it fail to beat the first man.
Schmelzer bombs forward down the left side and wants a corner following Lahm's challenge, but the referee signal for a goal kick. Dortmund are looking slightly more dangerous about now.
Dortmund aren't allowing Bayern too much time on the ball at the moment. Their midfield is working frantically to win back possession whenever possible.
CHANCE! First proper effort on goal falls Dortmund's way as Blaszczykowski lashes the ball over from the edge of the area. He took the shot first time and it was always sailing into the stand.
SAVE! Lewandowski nearly curls the ball in from the edge of the box, but Neuer manages to tip it over. The Dortmund striker created that out of nothing.
SAVE! Neuer comes to Bayern's rescue again! Blaszczykowski gets a shot away at the near post this time and the goalkeeper is there again to get down low and keep the ball out. Dortmund get a corner from it but they can't create anything.
If anything, Bayern have looked a bit nervous during the opening stages. Their passing has been poor and there's a real lack of urgency about them. In contrast, Dortmund are very much fired up for this.
SAVE! Neuer again! Reus gets away from a couple of defenders and lashes a left-footed drive at the Bayern goal. However, Neuer is there once more to punch the ball clear. Can Dortmund make this pressure count?
CHANCE! Dortmund carve out another opening as Grosskreutz finds Bender in the area. The defender tries to curl a low shot into the far corner, but Neuer gets down low to gather.
SAVE! What a stop by Weidenfeller - the first time that he's been properly called into action tonight. Ribery's powerful cross was met by the head of Madzukic and the Dortmund goalkeeper was there to tip the ball over from close range. Bayern pump the resulting corner into the box, only for it to come to nothing. Can that spur Bayern on?

CHANCE! Bayern create what is a rare opening but it's a glorious one. Muller is allowed a free header in the area, but he can only guide it wide of Weidenfeller's post. He looks annoyed with himself and so he should be - that was a great opportunity.
Jupp Heynckes's side are certainly getting into this a bit more now. Their passing looks a lot better and they are attacking with a lot more menace and purpose.
Five minutes of normal time left in this first half and it is still goalless between the two sides.
SAVE! A terrible mistake from Hummels allows Robben in but Weidenfeller stands tall and sees the shot bounce off him and away from danger.
HALF TIME: BAYERN MUNICH 0-0 BORUSSIA DORTMUND
The referee doesn't allow a second of injury time as he blows up to end an entertaining first half which sees Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund go in goalless at the break.
If anything, that first half was dominated by the two goalkeepers, particularly Manuel Neuer. The Bayern shotstopper came to his side's rescue a number of times, while Roman Weidenfeller had to be alert a couple of times at the other end to keep the scores level.
Dortmund have quite clearly been the dominant team so far, but will they regret not taking one of their chances? Lewandowski, Reus, Blaszczykowski and Bender have all come close.
In contrast, Bayern have looked nervous and shaky. Jupp Heynckes's side showed moments of attacking intent, though they rarely threatened the Dortmund goal.
Okay then, the two sets of players are back out and it will be Dortmund to get this second half underway. No changes for either side at the break.
Something of a scrappy start to the second half as both teams give away needless free kicks.
There's a slight veil of smoke across the Wembley pitch right now and that's because the Bayern fans have set off a couple of flares. They sure know how to get a party going.
If you were thinking that Bayern would start the second half positively, think again. They are still finding it difficult to play how they want as Dortmund do all of the pressing.
Great defending from Hummels to stop Ribery. Martinez looked to have played the Frenchman in down the left side, but the Dortmund captain stood tall and used his sturdy frame to win back possession.
GOAL! BAYERN MUNICH 1-0 BORUSSIA DORTMUND (MANDZUKIC)
We have a goal! Bayern take the lead and it's Mandzukic who finds the net! Robben found space inside the area before crossing from a tight angle and the striker was there to tap in from close range.
Mandzukic nearly has himself another goal moments after scoring his first, but his tame effort is collected by Weidenfeller. Dortmund suddenly looking a bit hurried now.
Jurgen Klopp is looking rabid down on the touchline. He doesn't like what he is seeing right now and is trying to force a reaction from his players. They're looking a bit deflated.
PENALTY FOR DORTMUND!
GOAL! BAYERN MUNICH 1-1 BORUSSIA DORTMUND (GUNDOGAN)
Ilkay Gundogan keeps his cool to send Neuer the wrong way from the penalty spot and it's all square in the Champions League final. The penalty all came about when Dante bundled over Reus in the area. The Bayern defender had already been booked but the referee kept his cards in his pocket.
OFF THE LINE! How has Subotic done that? Ribery rounded Weidenfeller and looked to have slotted the ball into the empty net, but Subotic is there to somehow keep the ball out on the line. Incredible stuff.
Around 15 minutes of normal time to play in this final and, I'll tell you what, there are plenty of people who fancy another half an hour of this...
SAVE! What a stop from Weidenfeller! Alaba hammers an audacious drive from 25 yards that looks to be flying into the top corner, but the Dortmund goalkeeper bats it away. Riveting stuff at Wembley.
CHANCE! Muller breaks through on goal but is tracked by Subotic and squares it for Mandzukic, who fires wide on the angle.
Ten minutes of normal time left. Will we see a winning goal? Neither side is letting up at the moment.
Weidenfeller has a bit of a flap at a corner, but Schweinsteiger can only smash the ball well over from the edge of the box. A more controlled effort there and Bayern could well be in front.
It's definitely Bayern who look most likely to find a winning goal right now. Amazingly, neither team has made a substitution so far.
SAVE! That's a better hit from Schweinsteiger. The Bayern midfielder hits a thunderous drive from 18 yards that Weidenfeller keeps out with a pair of firm hands.
GOAL! BAYERN MUNICH 2-1 BORUSSIA DORTMUND (ROBBEN)
Unbelievable! Bayern have surely won it thanks to Arjen Robben! A mix-up in the Dortmund defence allows the winger in and his shot trickles past Weidenfeller and over the line. Amazing stuff. Can Bayern hold on?

BAYERN MUNICH WIN THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE!
The full-time whistle goes and Bayern Munich's players go crazy as they are crowned the champions of Europe thanks to a 2-1 win over Borussia Dortmund.
The Dortmund players look completely gutted but they should hold their heads high. That was an absolutely superb final between the German rivals. Plenty of quality football on show, but there can only be one winner and that is Bayern.
Bayern coach Jupp Heynckes is being congratulated by his players and what a way for them to reward him in his final season at the club. The Bavarians have already won the Bundesliga this season and they can complete the treble next weekend if they beat Stuttgart in the German Cup final.
