Rafinha: 'We can overcome Barcelona'

Bayern Munich defender Rafinha backs his side to overcome Barcelona in their Champions League semi-final, despite trailing 3-0 from the first leg.

Bayern Munich defender Rafinha is still confident that his side can overcome Barcelona in the semi-finals of the Champions League.

Bayern face a huge task in Tuesday's second leg after losing the first leg 3-0 at Camp Nou last week.

However, the Brazilian believes that the German champions can get the goals they need to advance.

"For 77 minutes last week we played very well, defended very well, but after that we made some mistakes and paid for it," Rafinha told reporters. "Now we are going to try and score three or four goals and perhaps we will even have to take it to extra time.

"We didn't expect to be three goals down at this stage, but we have another game and when we are at home we've shown we can score a lot of goals.

"Against players like Barca have you take a risk by playing with just three at the back, but we'll do what the coach says. It's the small details that decide matches like these."

Bayern were eliminated in the semi-finals of the Champions League by Real Madrid last season.
