Preview: CSKA Moscow vs. Bayern Munich

Sports Mole looks ahead to Wednesday's early Champions League kickoff between CSKA Moscow and Bayern Munich.

Champions League holders Bayern Munich travel to Russia's capital to face CSKA Moscow on Wednesday night with their place in the last 16 already guaranteed.

Pep Guardiola's side are yet to lose this season since their German Super Cup defeat to Borussia Dortmund back in July.

They go into this match on the back of a 3-0 trouncing of Bundesliga rivals Dortmund.

Opponents CSKA have no hope of reaching the last 16 but are also in strong form of late, winning four straight games in the Russian Premier League.

When these two last met on the opening night of this year's competition in Group D, it was Bayern who came through comprehensively at the Allianz Arena.
