Pep Guardiola: 'Our best is to come'

Bayern Munich manager Pep Guardiola believes that his side has the potential to improve this season.

Pep Guardiola has warned Bayern Munich's rivals that the team still have room to improve this season.

The German club boosted their chances of reaching the quarter-finals of the Champions League by beating Arsenal in the first leg of their last-16 tie on Tuesday.

Guardiola's side currently hold a 16-point lead at the top of the Bundesliga, but the Spanish coach believes that Bayern's best form is yet to come.

"We can improve our high level even further," Guardiola told the club's official website.

"Every day the players understand a little more about the mechanisms and our ideas. We talk about what we do well and not so well. Therefore, it is normal that our understanding grows."

Bayern return to league action on Sunday when they travel to Hannover.
